Summer and Winter Sessions

Whatever your summer or winter plans, stay on track.

Complete a course in the summer or winter to free up time for an internship, a research experience or a double major or minor. Summer and winter sessions are open to all students at a special tuition rate and include flexible schedules and expanded online and in-person courses.

Summer Sessions

Registration opens April 4.

  • 4-, 6-, 8- and 13-week courses offered
  • Courses begin in May, June and July
  • Online and in-person courses will be offered
  • Undergraduate and graduate classes are available

Winter Session

Registration for winter courses typically opens in late October, and courses will be listed on the Nest.

  • 4-week courses offered
  • Courses run December 11-January 7
  • Last day to withdraw with a grade of "W" December 30
  • Undergraduate and graduate classes are available

Financial Aid

University-funded grants and scholarships are generally not available for Summer Sessions. However, Pell Grants and student loans may be available. If you need financial aid for the summer, you will need to complete a Summer Aid Application. Registration for six or more credit hours over all summer terms is required for minimum eligibility.
